Pale Slate Blue with White-Yellow Sunlight Atop It
Driving southwest out of the Canadian Rockies. 2010.
Our last view of icy water, roiling and toiling its way seaward.

Leaving Beauty Behind
Banff. 2010.
The view as we drove away. Low sunlight, clinging fingers of fog. Dew still on each blade of grass. That rain-fresh smell.
The road, before us.

Glowing
Nanton, Canada. 2010.
It had been sprinkling when we went into the cafe for dinner. A little later, the owner came in from taking the garbage out, saying there was a large rainbow. We missed the rainbow, but got to see the low sun striking these bright grain towers.
P.S. The buffalo burger was a huge disappointment.

Night Swimming
Mokowanis Lake, Glacier. 2010.
Cleveland, on the far right, has the largest direct rise in the (continental?) U.S., and is one of the five tallest peaks in the park.
Can't wait to go back...
