pedalfest. biking...in a circle? this "bike" had seven seats and chains, but only one steering wheel and three fat little go cart tires. i sat backwards.

lay me down and rest

on the way home from bike camping. we left from embarcadero and rode across the golden gate bridge, then followed the bay side north past fairfax. camped in samuel p. taylor, then breakfast in pt. reyes station. home along route one. hilly, but worth it. gorgeous weather. 83 miles all together. it's the next day, and i feel great--can't wait for the next trip out.

We went on a bike tour this morning, all around Emeryville, to look at all the good and bad bike facilities in the city. Plenty to talk about.

This little girl was with the tour, and quite busy taking photos during our stops. We climbed a nearby pedestrian bridge for a better shot.
